Your time and money are too valuable not to take this question seriously. We know we're not the only company selling riding holidays. Not only are there dozens of other companies (some even use our name), but you can also find hundreds of outfitters advertising their own programs on the internet. With all these options available, why ride with Equitours?
First, and probably most important, our ride consultants have done most of the rides they sell. They are able to give you an unbiased description and compare a broad range of possible riding holidays. Every client is an individual, with unique expectations, interests and riding experience. With the assistance of a competent ride consultant, you can determine which destinations are the most appropriate for you.
Second, we carefully scrutinize a riding program before giving it our stamp of approval. Not only do we constantly run quality control on all existing programs, we're always on the lookout for new programs which measure up to our high standards. We do however accept only a small fraction of the programs proposed to us.
Third, most of our clients are repeat customers. We recognize this by offering a frequent rider program. Our clients receive a 10% discount on every 5th ride taken within 6 years.
We encourage you to shop around. While you are at it, remember to compare not only the price of the rides, but also the cost and quality of the associated services. Here are a few questions to keep in mind:
- Are the communications easy and inexpensive? Do they have a toll-free number and/or an e-mail address?
- Is someone available to answer your questions?
- Is the printed information detailed, current and informative?
- Are they willing to supply references?
- Are the deposit and cancellation requirements clearly defined?
- Is it easy to make payments? Do they accept credit cards?
- What exactly is, and is not, included in the price?
- Is travel protection insurance offered?
- How long have they been in business?
