Search for Rides by Ability Level and/or Date

An easy way to get to get a quick overview and some ideas of the kind of adventure we offer is to sit back, relax for a few minutes and watch this video riding tour narrated by our founder.

This function allows you to search by ability level, date, or both.

Strong Intermediate: An intermediate rider who is currently riding regularly and is comfortable in the saddle for at least 6 hours a day.

Short Rides: Looking for a day or two of riding? The majority of the rides we offer are 7-8 days, and some are longer. We do have a few which are 4 days in duration, and several stationary programs with a 3 day / 3 night minimum stay (see the list below). We do not offer any rides shorter than 3 days. Our philosophy about a riding holiday is that it should be long enough to give riders a chance to settle into their surroundings, become acquainted and comfortable with their horse, and gain an appreciation for the culture, customs, people and landscape in that corner of the world. We believe rushing this process results in a less than satisfactory experience. In our 25 years of searching for the best riding vacations around the world we have seen a pattern: the best trained and best cared for horses are owned by people who will not lease on an hourly or daily basis. These conscientious outfitters and guides also recognize the value in allowing riders and horses time to adjust to each other.
