Some Seasonal Equestrian Events
You can ride friendly, powerful, smooth-gaited Iceland horses
traversing the Green Mountains in that glorious time of year when the
leaves turn crimson, gold, yellow and orange in one of the world
famous displays of nature. Riders stay in a classic New England inn
and can visit the historic nearby town of Waitsfield. |

The traditional ritual of driving cattle into the high
country of the Rocky Mountains as the snow melts and the nutritious
grass grows will take place at the Bitterroot Ranch the week
starting June 26th. The mother cows and their calves will
be moved from the ranch onto a grazing lease of 50 square miles in
the Shoshone National Forest, which extends to Yellowstone National
Park. |
