Winter Rides - Arizona and Egypt |
Arizona, Grand Canyon
Our rides in the southwest have been our most popular next to our own Wyoming ranch. At this time of year you can still enjoy the Winter Pastures ride which goes part way down the north rim of the Grand Canyon where it is sheltered,
temperate and spectacularly beautiful. The horses are amazingly well adapted to this rugged country and your guides are extremely competent. |
Egypt, Palms and Pyramids
We have long sought a good ride in Egypt because it is home to what are probably the most impressive treasures of the ancient world in one small area, but it was hard to find a reliable outfitter. Bayard and Mel Fox are testing a new ride on February 6th led by an expatriate American lady with fine Arabian horses who knows the country well. You will see some of the fabulous creations of the pharaohs from thousands of years before Christ as well as ride through farmland in oases near the Nile to view the vibrant life of modern Egypt. Check out our website for details and join us if you can. Other dates are available. |
David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
As this difficult year draws to a close, if you can, consider giving some help to African wildlife where it is desperately needed. | |

2009 CATALOG
The catalog is a handy size to pack to a friend's house, or to the barn, or
leave on your bedside table, but it is not nearly as comprehensive as our
website. If you did not receive your catalog and would like one, request
one here.
