 Alabama Fall Foliage
- The scenic southern tip of the Appalachians is little
known to most Americans, but it is a lovely place to ride and very easy to
reach. The area has its own unique culture with interesting arts and crafts as
well as music. It compares very favorably to Equitours rides in Europe and you
don't have to cross the ocean to get there. The week of October 18-24 is now
full so we have added two more rides from October 25-31 and November 1-7, which
are prime fall foliage weeks. These rides are still discounted from $2,300 to
$1,840. Quebec
- This comparatively inexpensive ride next door to New England has been
discounted even more to $1,575 and is a glorious place to be in fall foliage
time. You can enjoy the flavor and charm of French culture and cuisine and the
landscape with its flaming maple trees and mighty rivers is extremely
attractive. The inns where riders stay have been beautifully restored in the old
style. The rides run every week from now until the end of September.Mongolia - We have been proud of our unique riding holidays in this wild, unspoiled land of nomads, but are concerned about an event, which is attracting much negative publicity. A thousand kilometer endurance race scheduled for August 22nd in Mongolia has drawn loud protests from a great number of well-known people in the horse world who feel that if it takes place as now planned, it will unduly stress and probably kill a number of the 800 horses, which are reputedly to participate.
