We have two sharply reduced, excellent riding adventures to report this month.
One is very close and very attractive: the other is very far and very exotic. The Southern Appalachian Trail in Alabama is discounted by 20% from
$2,300 to $1,840 in September and October for six nights and five days. Rides
like this, which meet European standards for quality, are very hard to find in
the US, but this one is an exception and has had fine reviews from our guests.
It is a wild and beautiful area, but easy to reach from major airports nearby.
The October dates have the added attraction of the blazing fall colors of maple
and oak. If you have some non-riding friends, you can bring them along, as there
are numerous other activities in the area. Three-day rides are also available. Kenya's Chyulu Hills Ride in some of the world's best big game country
is in the category of a unique lifetime experience and the price for a seven-day
luxury safari has been slashed from $4,965 to $3,670 for the rest of this year.
Some low airfares are available too. The horses and service are both first class
and the chances to interact with African wildlife in the shadow of Mt.
Kilimanjaro are frequent and memorable. |
