Horseback Vacations Worldwide March 2009
We are well aware of the hardships the unhappy state of the economy is causing many of our clients and are doing our utmost to offer you affordable vacations. Here are some opportunities which we hope will be attractive to you:

Riding on the Bitteroot RanchBitterroot Ranch - At our own riding ranch in Wyoming near Yellowstone Park we are giving a 10% discount for week long stays in July and August. At this time of year there is quite a lot of cattle work for those who are interested since the cows will be pastured in the national forest and need to be checked on constantly. Instead of the usual 25% discount for accompanied children under 16; we are offering a 50% discount off of our regular price to make family stays more affordable. Former guests will get an additional 5% discount. Half-week stays afford little time to get into the spirit of the place, but due to exceptional circumstances this year, we have decided to take half-week stays during that time frame and those rates are reduced from $1,200 to $1,050. Non-rider rates are down 10% from $1,300 to $1,170 for a week.

Horseback riding on the Wicklow Trail in IrelandIreland - If you are intrigued by the mystique of Ireland and its rich history, you will love theWicklow Trail, new to our program this year. It is an idyllic journey through the cradle of early Irish civilization and is not far from the charming city of Dublin. Groups are small, the Irish horses are renowned and the cozy hotels and guest houses are hospitable and friendly. The price is a very reasonable $1,925.

Australia - We draw your attention to the fact that our popular rides in Australia, which have some of the world's best horses, have been substantially reduced because of a dramatic fall in the exchange rate. The beautiful, upscale Sunshine Coast Inn to Inn ride, accommodating all levels of riders, has gone from $2,495 to $2,055. The Boomerang Trail on the southeast coast is for advanced riders and traverses lovely farmland and forests. You will see wallabies, king parrots and other wildlife unique to the continent down under. The price has dropped from $1,450 to $1,195.

 2009 CATALOG
The catalog is a handy size to pack to a friend's house, or to the barn, or leave on your bedside table, but it is not nearly as comprehensive as our website. If you did not receive your catalog and would like one, request one here.
