Equitours offers an extensive variety of destinations and itineraries, most of which can be tailored to suit the interests or requirements of a specific group. Our ride consultants are experts at attending to the little details (like airport transfers, accommodations, and the necessary paperwork), so you can relax and enjoy your holiday and your companions.
A customized ride is one which has been modified to accommodate a specific party's interest or riding ability. A customized ride may also be exclusive.
An exclusive ride is set aside for a specific group, with no bookings accepted from non-members. The itinerary may or may not need to be customized.
Honeymoon and Anniversary: We are often approached by couples looking for an "active" honeymoon or anniversary. Almost every ride we offer has hosted a honeymoon couple at one time or another, though some destinations are more inherently "romantic" than others. Some couples welcome the novelty of a camping trip. Others have in mind an upscale private tour. As with any other special request, we recommend rides based on the participants' riding abilities, interests, and expectations.
Groups of friends: Do you have a group of riding companions at the stable, or classmates who would enjoy a horseback adventure and a change of scenery? Give us a call. One of our ride consultants will take over the administrative responsibilities, so you don't have to.
Families: We are frequently asked to suggest horseback riding destinations suitable for extended families. The specifics vary, but in general families are looking for a riding holiday appropriate for a group with varying ages, varying levels of expertise, and often with non-riding members. Although it may seem like a daunting task, our ride consultants and our outfitters are experienced with this kind of request. Give us a chance to create a holiday your family will remember forever.
Corporate Retreats: Some destinations are suitable for a group with little or no previous riding experience, but with a professional need to spend time together in an entirely unfamiliar setting. A riding holiday with coworkers "levels the playing field," and encourages all those team building essentials like participation, cooperation, trust, empathy, and humor.
Gift Certificates and Performance Awards: Whether the occasion is a graduation, birthday, holiday, or recognition for a job well done, a riding holiday is a unique and thoughtful gift for a horse enthusiast. We create Gift Certificates and Performance Award Certificates either for specific dollar amounts, or for specific destinations.
It is important to request a custom or exclusive ride well in advance. The price and payment schedule varies depending on the destination selected, the amount of altering required, and the group size.
