| Itinerary |
| Day 1: | On arrival you will be transferred to Amamoor Lodge and introduced to your hosts for the next two days. Facilities here include lovely bedrooms opening onto wide verandas, lounge area with open fireplace and a large swimming pool. After lunch you will be introduced to our outfitter's well trained Australian stock horses. This introduction will include a short familiarization session on basic horsemanship and caring for your horse. Time permitting; it will be followed by a short “getting to know you” ride. Pre dinner drinks and nibbles will be served in the lounge, followed by dinner in the beautifully appointed dining room. Riding time: 1-2 hours |
| Day 2: | After a delicious early breakfast, prepare your horses for a 9:00am departure. Today you ride through the beautiful rain forest country west of Kenilworth. Lunch at Amamoor Lodge or McGinns Cafe then drive to Montville, a lovely small town high on the Blackall Range. Pre dinner drinks and dinner will be served at Amamoor Lodge. Riding time: 3.5-4 hours |
| Day 3: | Another early breakfast then depart for Kilkivan. The Left Bank at Kilkivan is where you will be staying for the next two nights. Meet your hosts, and after being shown to your rooms, enjoy a traditional morning tea. Mid morning you will start the 'Wongella Trail Ride'. You will pass through a variety of open range country as well as the "valley of the grasstrees'. A BBQ lunch will be served at Mudlo National Park and a local historian and bush poet may provide some entertainment. Transport back to The Left Bank in time to freshen up for a scrumptious dinner or explore the small town, followed by a relaxing evening. Riding time: 4 hours |
| Day 4: | Today you will have an exciting day riding beautiful stock horses through 'Jaylyn Downs', a horse and cattle stud property. After a typical Aussie lunch on the property, you leave and drive to visit the township of Goomeri and the Emporium, a saddle shop. Time permitting, a visit to a local saddler and country pub will be included. Evening drinks and a tasty dinner on the balcony at The Left Bank. Riding time: 4 hours |
| Day 5: | An early morning today as you have breakfast and are prepared for riding before you are transferred to Kin Kin at 8.00am. Tack up the horses and mount up to ride the Noosa Trail Network by mid morning. A light lunch and a welcome drink at the Kin Kin Pub will be waiting after your hours in the saddle. Depart for the town of Noosa after lunch and check into your next luxury accommodation where you spend the next two nights. Dinner this evening will be a special occasion at one of Noosa’s exclusive restaurants or at the resort restaurant. Riding time: 3 hours |
| Day 6: | Depart for Noosa North Shore after breakfast. You will be riding through the bush to the spectacular Laguna Bay and Teewah Beach for a memorable ride along the pristine North Shore and returned to Noosa for a light lunch. Return to the luxury of your hotel after lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing or exploring Noosa’s famous Hastings Street, the beach or national parks. This evening you will be transported to ‘Razzas’ restaurant in the famous Gympie Road restaurant precinct for a finale dinner to compliment this week of experiencing Australia's spectacular scenery, hospitality and horses. Riding time: 3 hours |
| Day 7: | You will be transferred to your departing airport after breakfast.
Depending on your flight departure time, you may have time to fit in a visit to the Eumundi Markets or the famous Australia Zoo, home of the late Crocodile Hunter- Steve Irwin.
